The multitap update
AT Protocol is kind of like a multitap. With one account, you can microblog on Bluesky, write longform with Leaflet, Pckt, or Offprint, post and share photos on Grain or Currents, scrobble your latest music with Rocksky or Teal, securely message your friends with Germ, track the books you read with Bookhive, and find your next video game with Popfeed, Cartridge, or Postgame.
We've added some connective tissue in that last category.
Let's say you've been using Popfeed to manage your gaming. You'll now see those titles appear in your Postgame library automatically, marked with a badge so you know which ones they are. If you want, you can import them directly into Postgame, but you certainly don't have to. Again, this is one of the coolest parts of AT Protocol; you don't have to pick a favourite; you can use one or more services in tandem, and (ideally) they just work™.

Another example, imagine you've been browsing Cartridge and liking games. You’ll now see those (along with favourited items from Popfeed) appear in your "Loved" section on your Postgame profile. In the screenshot below, Crow Country is a game I originally "Liked" on Cartridge that now appears in my profile's "Loved games" section.

Additionally, when you view a detail page for a game you've already interacted with on Popfeed or Cartridge, we'll let you know that it's linked there and let you import it if you want. Importing will create a new record in your Postgame account and hide the linked version. The original version will remain untouched back on Popfeed or Cartridge. In the future, I’d love to implement a single unified item, but that requires significantly more work and coordination.

I feel like this is just the start. We'll continue to chip away at this and add new functionality over time, like having lists appear across platforms. If you notice any issues or have ideas for future updates, get in touch.
